netzpolitik.org is a medium for digital freedoms. We address important issues relating to the internet, society and politics and show ways in which people can use the internet to campaign for digital freedoms and openness. With netzpolitik.org, we describe how politics is changing the Internet through regulation and how the Internet is changing politics, the public sphere and everything else. We critically accompany all areas of society in the processes of digitalization: from the big data companies and security authorities to education, media and the environment. We want to put technological change at the service of freedom, solidarity and the common good. We see ourselves as a journalistic service, but we are not neutral. Our stance is: We are committed to digital freedom rights and their political implementation. We have received several awards for our work.
