codetekt is a non-profit organization with the aim of curbing the spread of disinformation. Using a trust-checking approach, codetekt e.V. enables everyone to quickly and easily assess the trustworthiness of information. codetect implements this goal through workshops, educational work on social media, cooperation projects and a community platform. codetekt is currently a project team of 22 people. It was founded following the WirVsVirus hackathon in March 2020. Since then, codetekt has been working on a solution to uncover dubious messages on the internet. The team operates on a decentralized and virtual basis throughout Germany and beyond. Together against misinformation - for a resilient and well-informed society!
